Mechanically, what we know about Honda applies directly to Acura — including the 1.5L turbo concerns on the older ILX and certain TLX variants, the J35 V6 patterns shared with Pilot and Odyssey, and the 10-speed automatic service intervals on current platforms.
In Marietta specifically, the MDX is the most common Acura we see. The 3.5L J35 V6 is a well-engineered engine when maintained; the 9-speed automatic on 2016-2020 MDX models had software calibration issues that improved with later software updates and were addressed under warranty.
